That affect us. That reflect our present and outline a threatening future if not… yes, if not a change in thinking finally takes place. “Current world events and the fear that the mistakes of the past could be repeated: these are just two of the many factors that prompted me to write this song,” says Klaus Rieger, singer/songwriter of Chancy Squire. He continues: “With a lot of anger in my gut, because the decision-makers at the levers of power often contradict what people really want in their actions! Yet we are all one big human family who should understand that life is as precious as it is unique.”
And so the two band founders are setting out to make their mark once again. Supported by brilliant musicians, THE WRITING OF THE WALL presents an almost incomprehensible melodic force that pleads for history not to repeat itself, even if everything seems to indicate the opposite. And, according to the band’s credo: „Let’s prove together that humanity is capable of learning! Especially in uncertain times, it is more important than ever to take a stand and fight for peace!“ The first step has been taken. For a better world. A better world that Chancy Squire creates song after song, album after album, with their typical, extremely catchy and hit-worthy melodies and philosophical lyrics.

Und er fährt fort: „Mit viel Wut im Bauch, denn die Entscheider an den Hebeln der Macht, widersprechen in ihrem Handeln oft dem, was die Menschen wirklich wollen! Dabei sind wir alle doch eine große Menschenfamilie, die begreifen sollte, dass Leben so kostbar wie einzigartig ist.“

Und so treten die beiden Bandgründer an, erneut Zeichen zu setzen. Unterstützt von genialen Musikern präsentiert sich mit THE WRITING OF THE WALL eine schier unfassbar melodische Kraft, die antritt, dass sich die Geschichte bitte nicht wiederholen möge, auch wenn offenbar alles dagegen spricht.
